TUESDAY IS TOTS DAY!

TUESDAY is now TOTS DAY!  You can come to the studio on Tuesdays from 9 am until 7 pm without an appointment and have your child photographed!  The cost is only $5 per child and you can purchase “sheets” at $10 each.  A “sheet” is your choice of One 8×10 or Two 5x7s or Four 4x5s or Eight Wallets of One Pose.   Bring along a favorite toy or blanket if you want.

It’s been a while since have used this promotion, it’s fast, its inexpensive, and it’s FUN!  We don’t schedule appointments but would like to suggest you come on the hour or the half  hour, i.e. ten o’clock, ten thirty, etc.  In the event someone is already here, sign in, you won’t have a long wait, and BK across is right across the street!

Most everyone knows our dog “Gigabyte”!  Our daughter Megan wrote a grant for the City of Sault Ste. Marie to open a Dog Park.  A spot has been selected, and approved but private funding will be needed.  We will be posting information as it becomes available.  If you are a dog owner you know a park is greatly needed here in the Sault.  There will be trails, running water, benches to sit on and much more!   Several fund raisers are in the works, and I will post information here as it becomes available.  Watch for info regarding the “BARKING LOT”!

Dance Studio Photo Shoot

This week IDSC_8108 got out and had a chance to do a Senior Portrait sitting at the STARS Dance Studio. My subject was a beautiful young lady named Olivia, who happens to be a member of the exclusive Footlight Dance group. The Footlights are the “best of the best” when it comes to the STARS dancers, so I expected alot from Olivia, and I was not disappointed. After doing a series of shots with the dance bar, and poses on the hard wood floor I decied to try something different. We did the final poses right in the front window, and they truned out great. You can see the rest of Olivia’s  pictures on the proofing section of our studio web site.

Pay it Foward

It is no secert that things are rough for everyone, including charities and non- profit organizations.  I decided make some efforts to help.

I looking to volunteer my services to six local charities, and write about the my experiences here. That would be one a month, now until December.

My first pick is The Gurdian Angels for Annimals, and I am going to work at this Saturday’s Event called the “Dog Trot”.   I am going to offer professional pictures of the owners and their pets. The pictures will be taken, and printed onsite, and be ready within the hour, and all proceeds will go to the new dog park.

The Dog Trot is alot of fun, and if you want to get out, and have some fun with your best friend this is an idea time.

Hope to see you there.

Jim

Van Citters Field House

I am always looking for new places to take my customers for their senior portraits, so when Chris German, wanted to go to the Sault High Athletic Field I jumped at the chance.  One of my favorites was taken right in the Van Citters Field House.  The field house was built in 1962, and is full of Sault HIgh team spirit, and football memories.  Good Luck to Chris, his team mates, and all the Sault High athletics.
